Sony Movie Channel Everywhere, or SMC Everywhere, lets subscribers watch full-length movies from Sony Movie Channel online, anytime. There are no ads and no interruptions to the movies, and the content is free to anyone who gets Sony Movie Channel on TV.
How do I access full movies?
Go to sonymoviechannel.com/smc-everywhere
to access full-length movies from Sony Movie Channel. To watch, you will need to log in using your TV provider username and password. We currently support logins for DISH and DIRECTV customers. A tutorial is available on the Help
Can I subscribe to SMC Everywhere directly, without getting it on TV?
No. SMC Everywhere is only available to customers who get Sony Movie Channel on TV. The service is currently available for subscribers of DISH’s Blockbuster @Home and DIRECTV’s HD EXTRA PACK. When I try to log in, I see a message that says I am not a subscriber. How do I check on my subscriber status?

I get Sony Movie Channel on TV, but I don’t remember or don’t have a TV provider login. What should I do?
Please contact your TV provider directly to recover a forgotten username or password or to set up a new account.

Which movies are available to watch online and when are new SMC Everywhere movies available?
SMC Everywhere features 20 full-length movies every month. You can see the full list of available SMC Everywhere movies at sonymoviechannel.com/smc-everywhere
. All but a few are new each month. The content will switch on the first day of every month. You can see when a movie will expire, along with the title and other information, directly under the video player on the movie watching pages.
How do I watch SMC Everywhere in HD?
All of the SMC Everywhere movies are available in high definition. They will automatically play in HD, providing you have a connection speed of at least 1.5 Mbps. For best HD quality, you’ll need a connection speed of at least 3 Mbps.
The video player automatically adjusts the quality of the video based on your connection speed as it plays. For this reason, you might see the video image quality change as you watch. You can also manually change the quality setting in the bottom left of the player interface. Keep in mind, if you force the setting to HD and your connection speed is not fast enough, the video will pause as needed to buffer.
If you know you have a fast enough connection, but “Auto” is still playing the video at a quality lower than HD, be sure you have the video expanded to full screen. You can expand the player to full screen by clicking the button in the lower right corner of the video player.
Can I watch SMC Everywhere on my mobile phone or tablet device, such as iPad?
Yes, you can. We recently updated SMC Everywhere to work with iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch, so now you can enjoy watching SMC Everywhere movies online for free, with your Sony Movie Channel service. Of course, we still support desktop, laptop, and Android device streaming as well – so now, SMC Everywhere gives you more movies in more places.
